Nothing Conventional About
Christianity?
It was on the day of
Pentecost
That the Spirit created
the Church
Fifty days following The
Holocaust,
Upon that sacrifice, its
perch.
Then was delivered to all
The unchangeable deposit
of faith
Once given, we “tremble to
forestall”
This mystical state, not a
wraith.
The steadfast person, we
are told, in trial
Is blessed by God.
But a wavering faith
beguiles,
And alters the path we
trod.
Following nuptials, two
overseers meet the press,
One of the Cantuariensis archiepiscopal
See
Responding to reporters as
if in a game of chess,
That nothing is conventional
about Christianity!
May just well be.
May just well be.
